| Description [en] | These are the Web pages for the Institute for Learning, based at the University of Hull, whose main aim is to “be recognised as a research-based centre of excellence in teaching and learning, both nationally and internationally, whilst continuing to have a particular interest in serving the educational needs of the local region“. The Institute for Learning comprises four Centres; the Centre for Educational Studies, the Centre for Lifelong Learning, the International Leadership Centre and the Centre for Sports Science. There are links to their activities (consultancy and evaluation and education and training courses); to their range of programmes and conferences; to Merlin, a Web-based learning environment; to a range of projects linked to local educational initiatives and national and international research and to their research activity.
