| Leírás [en] | A kötet tanulmányai a minőség kérdését járják körül változatos aspektusokból, főként az oktatásmenedzsment szemszögéből. Mivel az oktatás menedzsmentje alapjában más, mint az ipari menedzsment, ezért vizsgálatára és jellemzésére is más eszközöket kell kifejleszteni. A szerzők végigjárják a különféle elméleteket: klasszikus és modern strukturalista megközelítés, rendszerszempontú elemzés, populáció- és intézményközpontú megközelítés, valamint a hatalom oldaláról történő elemzés. A minőségről és menedzsmentről szerzett elméleti és gyakorlati ismeretek kihatással vannak az egyesülő Európára is. Hogyan hasznosítható a menedzsment az integráció folyamatában? Milyen ismeretek szükségesek ahhoz, hogy az egységes európai oktatás is menedzselhető legyen? A kötet a közös gondolkodást szolgálja. |
| Leírás [en] | The papers in this volume show a general trend to deal with quality issues through a management approach, indicating the relevance of ‘quality‘ for education management research and development. Since education management might be significantly different from that in industry, dealing with quality in education needs basically different approaches and procedures. These approaches to schools as organizations give rise to different concepts concerning quality in schools, and result in different approaches to managing quality. The different approaches are the following: classical and modern structural theory of organization, system-based and contingency approach, population-based/neo-institutional approach, power-based and interested parties approaches. The theoretical and practical knowledge about education management can also play a role towards the unifying of Europe. How may one advance the integration process by means of education management? How might one promote the ongoing processes in education throughout Europe? What kinds of knowledge is needed and what tools can be developed for managing European education? |
