| Beschreibung [de] | Pädagogische Hochschulen sind die Bildungszentren für LehrerInnen an Volksschulen, Hauptschulen, Sonderschulen, an berufsbildenden mittleren und höheren Schulen und für Personen, die in anderen pädagogischen Feldern tätig sind; sie ersetzen - mit einem erweiterten gesetzlichen Auftrag zur berufsfeldbezogenen Forschung – seit 2007 Pädagogische Akademien und Pädagogische Institute. Die PH Wien wird – wie alle Pädagogischen Hochschulen – von PH-Online (https://www.ph-online.ac.at) als Studierendenverwaltungssystem unterstützt. Ein "Institut für Forschung, Innovation und Schulentwicklung" (IFIS) (InstitutForschung@phwien.ac.at ) ist für Forschungs- und Entwicklungsarbeiten in pädagogischen Handlungsfeldern im Bereich der PH Wien und zur Vernetzung mit Profit- und Non-Profit-Organisationen eingerichtet. Publikationen der Lehrenden der PH Wien werden über den Katalog des Verbundes für Bildung und Kultur http://ubik-vbk.bibvb.ac.at zugänglich gemacht. Angeboten werden ein Hochschullehrgang mit Masterabschluss MEd "media in education" - Medien & Bildung und ein Hochschullehrgang mit Masterabschluss MEd "Europäisches Bildungsmanagement / European Management in Education", der in Kooperation mit mehreren Europäischen Universitäten durchgeführt wird. Für die internationalen Vernetzungen mit ungefähr 100 Partnerinstitutionen europaweit, im Speziellen in den Mittel- und Osteuropäischen Ländern (CEE-Staaten) sorgt ein Büro für internationale Beziehungen (international.office@phwien.ac.at). |
| Beschreibung [en] | University colleges of teacher education are education centres for primary, secondary and special school teachers, for teachers at intermediate and higher-level technical and vocational schools, and for persons active in other fields of education; endowed with a broader statutory mandate to engage in professional-practice research, they replaced the existing teacher training colleges and in-service teacher training colleges in 2007. Like all university colleges of teacher education, the University College of Teacher Education in Vienna is supported by the student administration system PH-Online (https://www.ph-online.ac.at). IFIS, an Institute for Research, Innovation and School Development (InstitutForschung@phwien.ac.at), has been set up for research and development work in educational action fields at the University College of Teacher Education in Vienna with a view to networking with profit and non-profit organisations. Publications of teachers at the University College of Teacher Cducation in Vienna are made accessible via the catalogue of the Association for Education and Culture at http://ubik-vbk.bibvb.ac.at. A university-level course on Media & Education ending with a Media-in-Education (MEd) Master’s degree is offered, as well as a university course on European Management in Education ending with a Media-in-Education (MEd) Master degree which is run in cooperation with several European universities. An office for international relations (international.office@phwien.ac.at) is responsible for international liaison with some 100 partner institutions in Europe, notably in the CEE region. |
