| Description [de] | Pädagogische Hochschulen sind die Bildungszentren für LehrerInnen an Volksschulen, Hauptschulen, Sonderschulen, an berufsbildenden mittleren und höheren Schulen und für Personen, die in anderen pädagogischen Feldern tätig sind; sie ersetzen - mit einem erweiterten gesetzlichen Auftrag zur berufsfeldbezogenen Forschung – seit 2007 Pädagogische Akademien und Pädagogische Institute. Neben den die PH konstituierenden Institute für die genannten Schularten gibt es an der PH Salzburg zwei weitere, nämlich Didaktik und Unterrichtsentwicklung sowie schulpraktische Studien und Bildungsmanagement mit dem Schwerpunkt Politische Bildung (www.elfriedewindischbauer.at). In einem ausführlichen Ziel- und Leistungsplan werden Schwerpunkte der berufsfeldbezogenen Forschung - Unterrichtsentwicklung; Leseforschung; Individualisierung und Differenzierung (Begabungsforschung), Schulpraxisforschung - ausgewiesen. Es gibt drei Kompetenzzentren, KTZ für Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien und Neue Medien, Lehre und Ausbildung sowie Forschung, hier ist Information über mehrere laufende und abgeschlossene Arbeiten zugänglich. Als weiteres Kompetenzzentrum wird eine Praxistagesstätte für die schulische Nachmittagsbetreuung geführt, wo die Zusatzqualifikation zur Freizeitpädagogin / zum Freizeitpädagogen erworben werden kann. Das Projektbüro A-Z ist eine Anlauf- und Koordinationsstelle für die Themenfelder Berufsorientierung und Arbeitswelt in der Aus-, Fort- und Weiterbildung und sieht sich als Kooperationspartner zwischen Schule und Wirtschaft. |
| Description [en] | University colleges of teacher education are education centres for primary, secondary and special school teachers, for teachers at intermediate and higher-level technical and vocational schools, and for persons active in other fields of education; endowed with a broader statutory mandate to engage in professional-practice research, they replaced the existing teacher training colleges and in-service teacher training colleges in 2007. In addition to the departments forming the university college of teacher education for the school types described, the University College of Teacher Education features two further departments: one for didactics and instruction development, and another for school practice studies and education management, focusing on political education (www.elfriedewindischbauer.at). The website sets out the thematic priorities of professional practice research – instruction development, reading research, individualisation and differentiation (research of gifts and talents), school practice research in an extensive goal and performance plan. There are three competence centres: for information and communication technologies and new media, for teaching and teacher education, and for research. Under the latter heading, information on several on-going and completed studies is available. A practice facility for after-school supervision is run as another competence centre. Here, participants may acquire additional qualifications as recreation pedagogues. The A-Z project office acts as a contact point and coordination unit on issues such as vocational orientation and employment in initial and in-service education and continuous development. It acts as a cooperation partner between schools and industry. |
